meritt apply - privacy
meritt apply is a Chrome extension for people running a job search with meritt. This page says exactly what it reads, stores and sends.
What it stores
One thing: a private access token for your own meritt account, in Chrome's extension storage on your machine. Disconnecting or logging out of meritt revokes it. No browsing history, no cookies, no analytics identifiers.
What it reads
On LinkedIn profile and job pages, it reads the name, headline, role and company that are already on your screen - so it can pre-fill the person or role you are saving. On job application pages (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, iCIMS) it reads the form so it can fill your details into it. It does not read any other sites.
What it sends to meritt
The people and roles you choose to save go to your own pipeline on learn.meritt.io. When we cannot fill a site, the extension reports that site's hostname (never the full address) so we know which one to support next. That is the whole list.
What it never does
It never submits an application for you. It never touches password fields. It never sells or shares your data with anyone outside meritt. It never runs on sites other than the ones named above.
Questions or a deletion request: will@meritt.io. Deleting your meritt account removes everything the extension saved.
